In 1994, for the 1st edition of Tempo Latino, Yuri Bedoya, who had just moved to Paris to make a life as a student and artist, was singing with the MAMBOMANIA Orchestra. Since then, he has quickly become Yuri Buenaventura and embraced the career he is known for, with the desire to make a living from his talent... He will be performing on 4 subsequent editions...
In 2004, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, founded by pianist Oscar Hernandez, presented its 1st concert at Tempo, and will return in 2016 with the same energy and collective talent.
In 2024, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra (3 Grammy Awards) presents its new album "Swing Forever" for their 24th anniversary.
Yuri Buenaventura also releases his new album "Amame", after 6 years of reflection and impatience.
For 2025, the 30th edition of Tempo Latino, the planets aligned and an artistic project was created around Nueva York "La Latine".
These artists, Yuri, Oscar..., without borders (or walls), speak the same language, share the same musical references, the same human values to build a unifying spirit around La Salsa Dura, the only one, the authentic one that has known how to fuse the rhythms of percussion, brass, voices to make the happiest of blended music!
