2025, the 30th edition... the year of Brazil in France... Tempo Latino transports itself to innovate and broaden its artistic palette by dedicating an evening to "Minha noite brasileira no Tempo Arena".
For this evening, well identified in the atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro's neighborhoods, we are proud to present the artists Joao SELVA, Flavia COELHO and their musicians, who have been living in France for several years, with the courage to leave their country to embellish their personal and artistic lives.
Joao SELVA likes to say: "a gente sai do Brasil, mas o Brasil não sai da gente" or in French: "on quitte le Brésil, mais le Brésil ne nous quitte pas...". That's how, for several years now, I've been sharing my love of Brazilian music in France. A music which, beyond its innumerable purely musical qualities - its irresistible rhythms, timeless melodies and sense of harmony - is above all a vehicle for values I hold dear: sharing, diversity, living together...
These are the values we'll be celebrating together at TEMPO LATINO, "Vem que a festa vai ser boa!!!"
Flavia COELHO, arrives from Rio de Janeiro in 2006, on June 21 (the day of the Fête de la Musique) to settle in France, in Paris...with many dreams, creative energy as her inner "motor", but steeped in questioning, doubts and uncertainties as she plunges into the unknown of her new life.
In the innermost depths of this "solar" artist, moving in her sincerity, endearing and remarkable in her personality, there is an experience, strewn with pitfalls and wounds, a strength of life, a family and human heritage that have shaped this magnificent woman, performer, singer, songwriter, author and generous helper of others...
